Mick Foley Shows Support For WWE's Jaxson Ryker After Raw
Foley believes Ryker deserves to be on WWE's flagship.
WWE legend Mick Foley has publicly shown his support for Jaxson Ryker.
Mick tweeted out some praise for Ryker after watching him dispatch Gran Metalik in short order on Monday's episode of Raw. Both men worked together in TNA (when Ryker was known as Gunner), and Foley described him as a "hardworking, ass-kicking dude".
Ryker recently returned to screens as backup for Elias. His Forgotten Sons trio with Steve Cutler and Wesley Blake was removed from television earlier in the year (both Cutler and Blake have since been repackaged as royal bodyguards to 'King' Corbin on SmackDown) following controversial comments from Jaxson on social media
Those comments raised the ire of several WWE stars, including Kevin Owens.
Despite all of that baggage, Foley is happy to see his old friend receive a second chance at WWE success on Monday nights. The Hall Of Famer went on to tell the world that Ryker "is a player" - Mick is expecting big things from Jaxson.
Some fans piped up to remind Foley of Ryker's outspoken history, but it seems like Mick would rather move on from all that and look forwards.
