Mickie James Applauds Sasha Banks And Naomi For WWE Walkout
WWE legend Mickie James believes Sasha Banks and Naomi deserve praise.
Mickie James believes both Sasha Banks and Naomi deserve praise for "standing up for themselves" against the WWE machine.
Ex-WWE star and current IMPACT Wrestling star James also told Busted Open Radio that "WWE is the one that pulled the trigger on letting the cat out of the bag". Therefore, she added, "people are only hearing that one side of it".
Mickie said that almost every pro wrestler recalls "being frustrated" at some stage in their run with the company. Most, however, just "put a smile on, walk out there and do a job whether they like it not". That's not how Sasha and Naomi played it - the pair walked out on WWE before this past Monday's episode of Raw.
Wrestling fans and critics alike have been debating the situation ever since.
James was proud to see some of her old peers take a stand though, and she doesn't foresee any other promoters worrying about working with Banks or Naomi if they eventually leave WWE. Mickie reckons the "value" both bring to the table is worth more to companies than anything else.
That includes WWE.
