Mickie James looks set to miss several weeks of WWE action after suffering a broken nose while competing.

The former Women's Champion revealed this during the latest episode of GAW TV on her Grown Ass Women YouTube channel:-

"I legitimately broke my nose in a match and now I can't wrestle for a couple of weeks," she said. "Unfortunately, that sucks."

James went on, stating that while the break isn't severe and it "wasn't like my nose was blasted across my face," she was rendered unable to breath out of one side of it. Mickie assumed that the procedure to get it fixed was going to be more painful than it actually was, describing the pain like a "sinus pressure headache," with her nose cartilage "dislocated away from my nasal cavity so they had to relocate it back."

The 10 August episode of Raw saw James return for the first time in 14 months, having suffered a torn ACL in June 2019. She faced Raw Women's Champion Asuka a few weeks later, putting up a losing effort, with her last match being a number one contender's bout with Zelina Vega on 21 September.
