MJF Brutally Buries Top WWE Star

AEW's MJF lets rip on one of WWE's brightest lights, holding nothing back.

MJF logged in and chose violence on Thursday.

All Elite Wrestling's resident fire-spitter hit Twitter to demolish WWE star Sheamus, having interjected in an exchange between the Irishman and fellow SmackDown wrestler Happy Corbin. Responding to Sheamus, who had quipped "real heels wear scarfs" (a possible MJF reference), MJF tweeted "sad."

Sheamus responded with the Conor McGregor "who the fook is that guy???" gif. This brought out the trash talker in Maxwell Jacob Friedman, who savaged the former WWE Champion:-

The follow-ups weren't quite as incendiary. Sheamus stuck to dropping gifs of Chris Jericho and Elias, both clad in scarfs, while MJF stated that he couldn't wait for Corbin to "end" him.

Sheamus is currently one of WWE's men of the moment, having just starred in an acclaimed match with Intercontinental Champion Gunther at Clash At The Castle (3 September). As well as earning a lofty ***** rating from the Wrestling Observer, that brutal, hard-hitting bout drew widespread praise from all corners of the fandom, landing Sheamus a deserved moment in the sun.

MJF, meanwhile, is back on AEW television after 4 September's All Out 2022 pay-per-view, where he returned to secure a future World Title shot by winning the night's Casino Ladder Match.
