Moose Interview: IMPACT Bound For Glory, EC3, TNA World Title, Heel Run, More

You've definitely developed into one of the better talkers in IMPACT today over the span of your time in the promotion. With the strides you've made on the mic this last year, what would you attribute that to?

Moose: Just hard work, man. A lot of hard work and a lot of practice and that light bulb clicking inside and just understanding professional wrestling and understanding what needs to be done and how to be a better pro. I would say it's more of a clicking than practice because there are guys out there who practice talking or practice throwing moves and being wrestlers, but they still don't get it until one day it finally just clicks. It might be a storyline they're in, it might be a match they're in, it might be a moment they have in the match and it clicks. It might be something somebody tells them and it clicks. For me, it was that angle I had with Eddie Edwards and that's when it clicked. It was like, “Oh, man, maybe I need to do this and maybe I don't need to do this and maybe I should save this and maybe I should appear like this and maybe I shouldn't do this anymore.” For me, that was that moment.

How do you think this Bound for Glory match will compare to your past Bound for Glory matches and moments?

Moose: This is different because this will be at an undisclosed location, which I don't even know where this location is. It's definitely hard to prepare for. My other Bound for Glory matches in the past, I've known what it was going to be, who it would be against, where it would be at. I knew how to train for that like what the weather was going to be like, what shape do I need to be in, what's the altitude, and all these different scenarios I can train for. In this case, I have no idea yet where this match is going to be at until the night before when I find out. By then, it's too late to train for because I've already been training for EC3, but I'm sure they have the same issues too because he doesn't know where this location is going to be at. Maybe he does, I don't know. I'm confident in my abilities and I'm sure he's confident in his abilities. When we see each other Saturday, October 24th, we'll see whose confidence reigns supreme.

What can fans expect from this Unsanctioned match between yourself and EC3 at Bound for Glory?

Moose: There will be blood.
