Multiple WWE Stars Make Return To Action

Kairi Sane, Mike Kanellis, Kacy Catanzaro and Liv Morgan all returned at various WWE live events on Friday evening.

Sane had not competed since her brutal concussion at the TLC PPV in December and lost in a live event match which saw herself, co-Tag Champion Asuka and Sarah Logan taking on the team of Raw Women's Champion Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair and Natalya. Sane was tapped out by Lynch.

Liv Morgan also appeared on the same show in Lafayette and wrestled her first match since July 2019 and also since being revealed as Lana's old flame, when she paired with Rusev to defeat Bobby Lashley and the once Ravishing Russian.

Kanellis hadn't been seen inside of a WWE ring since requesting his release back in October 2019, but returned to action at an NXT live event in Melbourne, Florida and paired with Tony Nese in a winning effort against Nick Ogarelli and Mohamed Fahim.

The final noteworthy return of the evening came when Kacy Catanzaro found herself in singles action - for the first time since June 2019 - at the aforementioned NXT live event. She defeated Vanessa Borne on the show, this coming just a few days after her NXT return appearance in the Women's Battle Royal main event this past Wednesday.
