Mustafa Ali has addressed his lack of WWE push, promising to "knock down" whatever barriers are in his way.

The former RETRIBUTION leader did so in response to a Twitter user questioning why WWE hasn't gone all the way with Ali, who had posted an impressive, fast-flowing video of him training with indie standout Gringo Loco.

Mustafa has appeared only fleetingly for WWE over the past year or so. January 2022 saw him publically announced that he had requested his release, through the market leaders didn't let him go. Instead, a televised absence that commenced in November stretched until 25 August, when Mustafa came back to wrestle The Miz on Raw.

Although fans pinpointed Ali as a potential push candidate when Paul 'Triple H' Levesque became WWE's creative lead in July, this is yet to materialise. The former 205 Live man has worked only two Raw bouts following WWE's executive shakeup, both of which were defeated.

The 36-year-old remains active on Main Event, competing with the likes of fellow Raw absentee T-BAR.
