MVP 'Wants To Work With' This WWE NXT Star

Did WWE manager MVP just tease this possible surprise Hurt Business recruit?

NXT Vengeance Day 2023 Carmelo Hayes Trick Williams

MVP just put over NXT's Carmelo Hayes as somebody he'd "like to work with" in the near future on WWE television.

The manager told 'Superstar Crossover' on YouTube that he views Hayes as "a young MVP". He's impressed by "the swagger" and "the confidence" of Carmelo, and reckons they could do some special things together if and when Hayes was called up to WWE's main roster.

That jump appears to be imminent; Shawn Michaels has previously spoken about how high he is on the former two-time North American Champion, and it seems he's already recommended the NXT standout to WWE overseer Triple H for possible promotion during WrestleMania season.

Could Hayes leap onto Raw or SmackDown and immediately pair up with a reunited Hurt Business faction? MVP admitted during the same interview that he's been working overtime behind the scenes trying to convince WWE that THB should make a comeback.

It's possible that this revamped unit would include someone like Carmelo and maybe even his mate Trick Williams. That's guesswork, of course, but there must be a reason why Porter is throwing Hayes' name around.
