Someone in AEW openly questioned why Tony Khan had brought Konnan in for some cameo appearances.

The former WCW and WWE man told listeners on Vickie Guerrero's podcast that most people were polite and cordial to him backstage. However, one unnamed star did approach Konnan just to say, "I can’t believe they hired you. You sh*t on us so much!".

K-Dogg was slightly taken aback by their tone. Whilst he refused to name exactly who had been frosty with him, Konnan did say that he chewed them out for their comments; firing back, the Mexican said that he was critical about everything in pro wrestling - not just AEW's product.

He dissects WWE's programming the same way as Dynamite and Rampage. This anonymous All Elite star wasn't having any of it though. They didn't see the value in bringing Konnan in for appearances on Dynamite or at Double Or Nothing this past May.

Konnan's latest AEW showing came on the 26 June Dynamite. There, he was ambushed by FTR at the behest of Tully Blanchard. He says he's open to working more with Khan's company in the future.
