The former SmackDown Women's Champion hasn't been seen since July.

Naomi could be on the verge of returning to WWE television for what would be the first time in over six months.

This is according to PWInsider, who note that the former SmackDown Women's Champion will be Houston, Texas this weekend, with Royal Rumble 2020 set to go down on Sunday evening. Thus, there's a strong chance that she could return as part of the Rumble itself.

PWInsider have also added further fuel to the speculative fire by noting that Naomi is expected to resume wrestling on SmackDown sometime soon.

Naomi hasn't been seen on WWE television since 22 July 2019, when she defeated Sarah Logan on Main Event. A Raw Superstar at the time of her departure, moving to SmackDown makes all the sense in the world, given that her husband, Jimmy Uso, recently returned to the FOX brand.

Though her absence coincided with The Usos' removal from television following Jimmy's DUI arrest, Naomi stated that she was taking time off for health and personal reasons. Recent months have seen reports that the only reason WWE hadn't brought her back was because creative had nothing for now. That must have now changed.
