AEW Full Gear 2021 will take place in Minneapolis, Minnesota on Saturday 13 November.

This has been confirmed by Fightful Select after weeks of speculation following AEW's decision to pull the pay-per-view out of St. Louis, Missouri on its original date, 6 November.

Fightful have confirmed the new location with internal AEW sources, with staff at Minneapolis' Target Center believing the show will go down there.

Full Gear 2021 had been pushed back a week to avoid clashing with UFC 268, which is scheduled to take place on 6 November. That lineup currently features a cluster of huge headlining fights including Rose Namajunas vs. Zhang Weili and Kamaru Usman vs. Colby Covington II.

Khan has spoken on his desire to avoid direct competition with major sporting events like the UFC and NFL games in the past. Switching to 13 November will do that, with Full Gear 2021 also set to be AEW's first Saturday night supercard since last year's Full Gear.

This will be the first time AEW has held any kind of show in Minneapolis or the state of Wisconsin, pay-per-view or otherwise, but continues the company's recent theme of holding banner events in the midwest.
