New AEW TNT Title Design Revealed On Dynamite

Darby Allin got a shiny new TNT Championship belt on last night's AEW Dynamite.

Pictured above is the brand new AEW TNT Championship design that was unveiled on last night's New Year Year's Smash episode of Dynamite.

Champion Darby Allin emerged with the shiny new strap during his weigh-in segment with Brian Cage, who challenges for the prize next week. The key difference between this and the previous design would be the leather strap itself, which is black rather than red, with the rest of the title largely the same as before. Still, it looks nice.

Last week's Brodie Lee tribute episode saw AEW gift the old TNT Championship design to the departed Jon Huber's son, Brodie Jr., whom Tony Khan christened the "AEW TNT Champion for life." This came just four days after Huber tragically passed away from a serious lung condition at 41 years old.

Lee was TNT Champion for 55 days. Winning the belt from Cody Rhodes in shockingly decisive fashion in August, he mounted successful defences against Dustin Rhodes and Orange Cassidy before dropping it back to 'The American Nightmare' on 7 October. Their grisly, gruelling dog collar match was Brodie's last, as he was hospitalised before he could return to television.
