Cody Rhodes details plans for AEW Dark: Elevation on Revolution media call.

Cody Rhodes has claimed that AEW's new show, Dark: Elevation, will be similar to the existing Dark show but with more focus on individual personalities.

Speaking on today's pre-Revolution media call, the AEW EVP said that Tony Schiavone is spearheading the project, which will offer more character insights, sitdown interviews, and other pieces to allow the audience to get to know the wrestlers, their motivations, and their place in AEW.

Rhodes was deliberately tight-lipped on the matter, stating that he wanted everybody to tune into Elevation to find out what it was going to be. He did, however, put over Paul Wight's commentary position as a USP.

Dark: Elevation will commence on Monday 15 March, with Wight and Schiavone behind the announce desk. This isn't to be confused with the upcoming second AEW show planned for TNT, which Rhodes confirmed should hit airwaves sometime later in 2021.

Wight will appear in a speaking role on tonight's episode of Dynamite, having been announced as an AEW signing hours before last week's broadcast. Perhaps his appearance will bring further news on what the new YouTube series will entail.
