New Matches Added To WWE NXT TakeOver: Back To Brooklyn

NXT's return to Brooklyn just got a little more glorious...

Three big matches were made official for NXT TakeOver: Back To Brooklyn on last night's episode.

Bobby Roode will make his glorious NXT in-ring debut against fellow relative newcomer Andrade 'Cien' Almas, whilst his former Dirty Heel partner Austin Aries will go one-on-one with No Way Jose. The Revival will also be defending their NXT Tag Team Championships against the team of Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa.

The addition of these matches all add up to one of the most exciting NXT TakeOver cards to date. The show will be headlined by the huge NXT Championship match between champion Samoa Joe and #1 Contender Shinsuke Nakamura. Bayley finally gets her rematch against NXT Women's Champion Asuka, and we'll also see the debut of Ember Moon.

TakeOver shows tend to feature six or so matches, so I would be surprised to see any more bouts added unless the length of the show is being extended. This card is stacked to say the least, and four of the five official matches could feasibly lay claim to being a potential show stealer.

NXT TakeOver: Back to Brooklyn takes places over SummerSlam weekend, on Saturday August 20th.
