Nyla Rose is your new AEW Women's World Champion, defeating Riho on last night's episode of Dynamite.

A tremendous power vs. speed clash finished after roughly 12 minutes. 'The Native Beast' survive three consecutive top-rope double stomps from Riho, sliding her boot onto the bottom rope to prevent defeat, before laying the smaller woman out with a Spear and her Beast Bomb finisher to take the W and the belt.

Rose and Riho had previously clashed for the title on Dynamite's first episode back in October, with the Japanese rollup artist scoring the win in one of the AEW women's division's most acclaimed matches. Now, four months later, Rose has taken her revenge, having earned her shot on the back of a two-match win streak in 2020.

Dynamite also saw a major debut in the former of Jeff Cobb. The current ROH powerhouse was introduced via a backstage promo from the Inner Circle before marching out and destroying Jon Moxley after his main event with Santana. Cobb and Moxley meet one on one next week, with Jericho putting the Hawaiian over as a hired gun.

As well as Cobb vs. Moxley, an AEW Tag Team Title bout pitting Kenny Omega and Hangman Page against The Lucha Brothers is also set for next week, while Jake Hager vs. Dustin Rhodes was confirmed for Revolution (29 February).
