A tease of an upcoming debut, or effective #socialmediaengagement?

Ahead of last night's generally well-received WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view - check back to WhatCulture Wrestling throughout the day for extensive coverage of the show - former (?) controversial figure Eva Marie hosted a viewing party alongside college football standout (and self-proclaimed 'Next Big Thing') Parker Boudreaux.

And since WWE tried to get us all not to speculate by announcing the friggin' #1 and #2 entrants in advance, might as well fulfil that need here: in the Instagram comments accompanying the picture above, Parker wrote 'THEY HAVE NO IDEA!!!!'

Parker hasn't been shy about touting his pro wrestling credentials, telling Lucha Libre Online recently "Look at me: between my Brock Lesnar-adjacent build and NXT-friendly body art I'm essentially the Judgement of Solomon, only it's Vince McMahon and Triple H will argue about who gets to keep me".

He didn't say that, but look at the morherf*cker: it's not exactly untrue.

He did however claim to have been signed by an undisclosed wrestling company and was, per Fightful Select, present at the January 20 NXT TV taping. Of course, Eva Marie is heavily rumoured to make her own return imminently.

A new bodyguard in a new power couple?
