New WWE Romance Revealed On Last Night's Monday Night Raw?

Love in the air as romance heats up between these two WWE Raw Superstars?

WWE at long last advanced a dragging story in the 24/7 division last night as Dana Brooke and Reggie's relationship was teased as something slightly more than just the friendship they've shared over the duration of her title reign.

Or was it?

The scene was set between the two as Brooke toasted her continued success (?) as 24/7 Champion, having dethroned Cedric Alexander for it back in November. Since then, she's been on the run with former Champion Reggie, who's advised and aided her escapes in various middling set piece vignettes across the towns and cities on WWE's touring schedule.

With glowing gratitude, Brooke said “I don’t know if I’ve ever told you this, Reggie...I want to thank you for everything you do for me, and for always having my back. And for being such a nice guy! I’m a better champion because of you" before planting a kiss on his cheek.

We're 10 or so years on from something as grim as "the friend zone" still being culturally A Thing, but with WWE approximately 20 behind the times, expect this to be the question asked of Reggie's place in Brooke's heart. Alternatively, love may indeed blossom just before he reveals his ruse and reclaims his strap. Or, (and it being WWE this feels unlikely) perhaps these two really are just all loved up, the end.

Time will tell, unless Vince McMahon forgets all about it and decides not to bother. More, maybe, as Raw rolls on.
