Nikki Cross and Alexa Bliss are your new WWE Women's Tag Team Champions, having dethroned maligned former champs The IIconics in a four-way elimination match on last night's Raw.

The bout also featured Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose as well as The Kabuki Warriors, and saw Billie Kay and Peyton Royce eliminated first as a result of Rose pinning Kay following a flying knee. The next elimination came when Asuka tapped Mandy out, before shenanigans ensued in the final phase, with Alexa and Nikki's smart heel work leaving Kairi Sane isolated. 'The Goddess of WWE' eventually took the pin following Twisted Bliss.

Kay and Royce's reign ended at 120 days. Having won the belts from Sasha Banks and Bayley and WrestleMania 35, they mounted just two successful defences - one of which came against Bliss and Cross on Raw's 17 June episode.

The IIconics were lucky to make television as champions, though it's unlikely that WWE will forget about the Women's Tag Team Titles now that Bliss is champion. Her and Cross make for an entertaining team, so fingers crossed they can get this struggling division back on track.
