Sami Zayn has been confirmed to be the next guest on Broken Skull Sessions.

Not just do we now know that the Great Liberator will be chewing the fat with Steve Austin, but it's also been announced that the episode will premiere this Friday on WWE Network and Peacock.

Zayn will join Becky Lynch, Ron Simmons, Lita, Bully Ray, Cody Rhodes, and Jeff Jarrett in being Broken Skull Sessions guests so far in 2022.

With an in-ring career that dates back to 2002, the former El Generico has been with WWE since 2013. At one point dubbed the Heart and Soul of NXT - including a 62-day reign as NXT Champion - Sami has been officially on the main roster since shortly after NXT TakeOver: Dallas in 2016.

During his time in WWE, Zayn has amassed three runs as Intercontinental Champion and earlier this year had a mainstream media-grabbing bout against Jackass star Johnny Knoxville at WrestleMania 38. Of course, the Quebec-born grappler is these days intertwined with the Bloodline on SmackDown - where he is a pseudo member of the faction.

In addition to his WWE tenure, the 38-year-old turned himself, as El Generico, into one of the hottest acts on the independent scene thanks to his work in the likes of Ring of Honor, Pro Wrestling Guerilla, Dragon Gate, and Chikara. Away from the squared circle, the real-life Rami Sebei does fantastic work with his Sami for Syria fund which supports the Syrian American Medical Society.
