Former WWE star Nia Jax has admitted that constant chatter from fans on social media about her "being unsafe" in company rings "kind of hurt [her] feelings" and knocked her confidence.

Jax told 'Ring The Belle' that she always had support from those backstage in the promotion, but was fully aware of what some hardcores were saying on Twitter and Instagram - most of those comments were negative, and suggested that Nia was reckless and "unsafe" during matches.

Most of this conversation started when Jax blasted Becky Lynch with an errant punch back in 2018. That actually helped Becky's cause and helped give her 'The Man' character an edge, but it didn't do much for Nia's standing amongst fans.

Some other scary in-ring moments vs. Dana Brooke, Kairi Sane and Charlotte Flair also contributed to the idea that Jax wasn't safe as a worker.

Jax revealed that she spoke with Randy Orton behind the scenes about all of this. Randy told her that he and Brock Lesnar once sh*t the bed down in developmental, but that was pre-social media so nobody really spoke about it. He encouraged her to keep on keeping on.
