Nia Jax isn't happy about the way WWE handled the cancellation of her and Shayna Baszler's Women's Tag Team Title match with The Riott Squad at Clash of Champions 2020, reports Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio.

POST Wrestling's John Pollock reported yesterday that Jax/Baszler vs. The Riott Squad had been pulled from the pay-per-view along with Bayley vs. Nikki Cross. WWE covered this on the Clash of Champions Kickoff Show, with Charly Caruso claiming Jax, Baszler, and Cross weren't medically cleared to compete.

Jax tweeted the following soon after this:-

Per Meltzer, 'The Irresistible Force' is legitimately "really mad" about WWE pushing this as the reason for her missing the show. He added that "one or two" of Cross, Jax, and Baszler had come into contact with somebody suffering from COVID-19, hence their removal. There is no indication that any of the wrestlers have contracted the virus themselves.

WWE knew that these bouts wouldn't be able to go ahead as early as last Friday, but chose to market them all the way through Sunday regardless.

With Cross absent from the PPV, Bayley ended up working a short match with Asuka instead.
