WWE has moved to add three new names to the company’s Board of Directors.

One that will be a familiar name to many is WWE President & Chief Revenue Officer Nick Khan, who has been elected to the Board in addition to continuing with his current WWE duties.

As well as Nick Khan, WWE Corporate has announced that Connor Schell and Steve Koonin are also now on the organisation’s Board of Directors. Schell is a former Executive Vice President of Content for ESPN, while Koonin previously oversaw TNT and TBS during his time as President of Turner Entertainment Networks and is the CEO of State Farm Arena and the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks.

On this news, a statement from Vince McMahon talked up this trio as providing “WWE and its Board with some of the most accomplished executives in media” and cited Khan, Schell and Koonin’s “proven track records across our industry”.

Nick Khan has certainly had quite the expanding influence on WWE since being brought into the fold in August 2020, and Nick of course recently found himself in the spotlight as AEW Chairman Tony Khan took a shot at him on last Friday’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
