Nikki A.S.H. paid tribute to the recently departed Shannon 'Daffney' Spruill on last night's episode of WWE Raw, wearing a white armband adorned with "DAFF" during her appearances on the show.

The armband can be viewed in the above screenshot, which is taken from a backstage interview A.S.H. conducted with new tag team partner Rhea Ripley. It was still there when A.S.H. and Ripley wrestled later on, defeating Natalya and Tamina to earn a shot at the Women's Tag Team Championships, with the title fight going down at Extreme Rules 2021 (26 September).

Spruill passed away at 46 years old on 1 September. A tragic situation had unfolded on social media prior to this, as the former WCW and TNA wrestler had uploaded a troubling video of her reading a social note to Instagram Live, holding what looked like a pistol as she spoke.

Daffney is best known for her work in WCW, where she debuted in 1999 and stood out as a bold character in a difficult era for Ted Turner's old promotion. She was with the company until just prior to the WWE buyout in 2001.

A.S.H. tweeted a touching tribute to Spruill in the wake of her passing, which you can view here.
