NJPW: Every Member Of CHAOS Ranked

10. Gedo & Jado

In wrestling, Gedo & Jado are one of the most accomplished tag teams in Japan. They've won gold as a unit pretty much everywhere, including multiple reigns in the 2000s as IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Champions. Jado at one point even won the Jr. Heavyweight Championship. However, joining CHAOS in 2009, the two have been unable to replicate their previous success, not seeing any New Japan gold. Instead, they've become CHAOS' cannon fodder, more often than not being the ones to take the fall in tag team matches.

Of course, this burial is a deliberate effort by the bookers... by that I mean, Gedo and Jado. For many years, the two (first as a duo, then just Gedo, while Jado took the book for NOAH) have been in charge of booking New Japan. It's their long-term thinking and reverence for old-school wrestling that have been credited for the company's creative resurgence. For their efforts, the two have earned the award "Best Booker" from the Wrestling Observer from the years 2011 to 2014, and Gedo as in individual has won the award two years in a row now.

So while on-screen, all Gedo and Jado's most important contributions to CHAOS are as a jobber duo, and in Gedo's case, Okada's (now former) manager, it's their work behind the scenes that's much more important.
