NXT Stand & Deliver Set For Same Day As WrestleMania 38?
WrestleMania 38 weekend is shaping up to be busier than ever for consumers of WWE content.
WWE's plans for WrestleMania 38 are still coming together, with the promotion yet to set anything in stone, though it looks like they may end up presenting two major events in one day this April.
Per PWInsider's Mike Johnson, preliminary plans currently have NXT's upcoming Stand & Deliver special pencilled in for Saturday 2 April. This would mean the show taking place only a few hours before WrestleMania 38's first night.
Again, this hasn't been locked in yet and may end up changing before the event. As things stand, however, Stand & Deliver may end up as a Saturday matinee show, taking place between midday and 3 PM EST.
WWE is yet to confirm a venue for Stand & Deliver.
WrestleMania 38 is due to take place across 2 and 3 April at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. It'll be the second time the biggest wrestling show of the year has taken place in the venue, with Triple H vs. Roman Reigns headlining WrestleMania 32 there in 2016.
With the TakeOver era seemingly dead, WWE's last major NXT special, WarGames, took place on Sunday 5 December 2021.
