NXT wrestler Saurav Gurjar has apologised for spoiling the brand's recent Great American Bash night two main event after leaking the result of Adam Cole and Keith Lee's winner take all match on Instagram.

Per Fightful Select, the Indus Sher man put his hands up and took ownership of the situation during a backstage meeting at WWE's last set of television tapings, with the report stating that there is no significant heat on Saurav following the incident. Gurjar isn't expected to be punished for what happened.

Saurav had posted an image of Keith Lee celebrating with the NXT Title and North American Championship to Instagram days before the Cole match aired on 8 July. WWE's current pretaped format means there is always a risk of something like this happening, though Gurjar still acted out of turn. He deleted the image shortly after posting it though wrestling media got hold of it regardless.

NXT's 18-49 rating fell from 0.22 to 0.20 that week, with the overall viewership dropping from 792,000 to 759,000 as well, though Cole vs. Lee was the most-watched segment across NXT and AEW Dynamite that night, suggesting the spoiler had little impact.
