NXT Star Set For WWE Main Roster Push?

Shawn Michaels says NXT man Carmelo Hayes is "ready" for WWE's main roster right now.

The legend told Fightful that Hayes would be a great fit for Raw or SmackDown, and thinks it's only a matter of time before he's called up by Triple H to storm the flagship shows. HBK also described Carmelo as "special" and says "the sky is the limit for him".

That's high praise from one of the best to ever do it.

It looks like Shawn knows more than he's letting on too - don't be too surprised if Hayes pops up on the main roster soon then. Michaels wouldn't be gushing about someone on NXT quite this much if he didn't know that a Raw or SmackDown call-up was coming, basically.

Since signing for WWE last year, Hayes has become a two-time NXT North American and one-time Cruiserweight Champion. The 28 year old has become a focal point on the developmental brand in 2022, but Shawn Michaels thinks it's the right time for him to move up the WWE pecking order.

Again, keep your eyes peeled for that main roster debut.
