NXT TakeOver Vengeance Day: 10 Things That Must Happen

2. Pete Dunne Uses The Edgecator

The future Universal Title challenger (surely) said he sees a lot of himself in Pete Dunne on last week's NXT. Hmm. Does anyone else smell the opportunity for the 'Bruiserweight' to add something new to his arsenal that's a nod and a wink towards the Canadian legend's praise?

Why not?

At TakeOver, assuming Edge is at ringside watching, Dunne could lock on his oft-forgotten old 'Edgecator' submission. For those who don't have a clue what that is, check out this footage of Mr. 'Rated-R' locking the hold on Drew McIntyre back in 2011. That move would be perfect for a torture artist like Dunne.

It'd be even better if Pete stared right at Edge as he cranked back on Finn Bálor's legs. Then, a certain Royal Rumble winner could let a maniacal grin cross his face like he was looking at a mirror image of himself from the 'Ultimate Opportunist' days.

It'd be an easy way to put Dunne over.
