What in the world is going on with ICW's 'Iron King'?

Insane Championship Wrestling mainstay Joe Coffey has been pulled from all future bookings with the company.

The Glasgow, Scotland-based promotion broke the news in an official statement last night, stating that "due to management decision as of the week commencing 14th October 2019, Joe Coffey has been removed from all upcoming Insane Championship Wrestling Ltd. events."

Furthermore, ICW note that "new participants for advertised matches featuring Coffey will be announced in due course," though the bout that sparked the statement, Stevie Boy vs. Ravie Davie at the 12 October GONZO event, won't air. Per EWrestlingNews.com, that match was ruined when Coffey attacked both competitors.

This is almost certainly a work, of course. Coffey is a WWE NXT UK wrestler who'd be jeopardising his future by shooting on another wrestler, even outside of WWE, and he's a two-time ICW World Champion who has been with the promotion since 2011. On top of this, the punches in the above clip are clearly worked.

Coffey's last title reign was with the ICW Zero-G Championship, which he dropped to Liam Thomson back in July.
