NXT's Riddick Moss was surprisingly called up to the WWE main roster last night, joining forces with 24/7 Champions Mojo Rawley to form a new double-act.

Moss strode out with Rawley for his scheduled match with No Way Jose. Mojo cut a promo beforehand, stating that "every franchise quarterback needs a strong offensive lineman to watch the blindside," which, of course, was Moss, adding that "anyone who wants to come and take this (the title) from me, you're about to get blocked."

Rawley defeated Jose in quick, decisive fashion, before a disguised R-Truth emerged from the conga line and stole a roll-up for the 24/7 Title. Moss squared up with him afterwards, allowing Mojo to down Truth and regain the gold.

An interesting move, this. Moss hasn't exactly been featured prominently on NXT television over the past few years. Struck down by serious injury in April 2018, he has worked just three televised bouts across the brand's American and United Kingdom imprints since then, though he did defeat Cedric Alexander as part of last night's Main Event tapings.

Moss is perhaps best known for his old tag team with Tino Sabbatelli. He was most recently managed by Robert Stone on the NXT house show circuit.
