During last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite, it was seemingly made official that Nyla Rose will be challenging Dr. Britt Baker, DMD for the AEW Women’s World Championship at AEW Dynamite: Fyter Fest - Night 2.

Emanating from Garland, Texas, that second Fyter Fest outing will take place on 21 July.

Baker will team with Rebel to take on Rose and Vickie Guerrero on this coming Wednesday’s edition of Dynamite, before the Role Model and the Native Beast lock horns over Baker’s AEW Women’s World Title three weeks later.

Since defeating Hikaru Shida to become AEW Women’s World Champion at Double or Nothing last month, Baker has yet to defend her prize or even compete in the squared circle, period – although her beef with Nyla Rose has been nicely simmering for several weeks, after Rose crashed Britt’s title celebration on the 4 June episode of Dynamite.

Of course, Nyla Rose is no stranger to the AEW Women's World Title, becoming the second person to hold that gold after defeating inaugural champion Riho in February of last year. Rose would have onto the gold for 101 days before dropping it to the aforementioned Shida at Double or Nothing 2020.
