Backstage notes on a WWE Raw segment that didn't air as was originally planned...

In what will absolutely be the most vital and relevant news update you will read all week, Fightful Select state that Otis' vomit on last week's episode of WWE Raw was originally intended for a different target.

The Alpha Academy man lost the contents of his stomach following a trios match pitting him, Chad Gable, and Theory against Bobby Lashley and the Street Profits. Chunks of undigested hotdog were splattered across the canvas as Otis let rip, following the big man's participation in an eating competition elsewhere on the show.

Per Fightful, Otis was originally going to spew on Gable's boots, not across the ring. There. You can sleep at night now.

Otis came within a hair of winning the hotdog-eating contest. Sat next to Angelo Dawkins, he thought he had the Street Profits member beaten by 23 to 22, but it wans't to be. The camera panned sideways to Akira Tozawa, who had somehow shovelled 48 sausages down his throat. Thus, it was all for nothing. A true tragedy.

Although WWE uploaded a gif of Otis throwing up during the show, it was placed behind a "sensitive content" warning.

Perhaps that's for the best.
