Overlooked WWE Star Pitches "Big Championship Match" At WrestleMania 39
The chances of Triple H taking this offer on are slim, but a WWE wrestler pitched it anyway!
Elias fancies a crack at GUNTHER and the Intercontinental Title. What's more, WWE's resident music man wants to do that match on the grand stage at WrestleMania 39, and told WWE Die Woche on Facebook that he's also pitching some other options to Triple H's creative team.
Whether they go for any of them remains to be seen.
Admittedly, Elias challenging GUNTHER at 'Mania does seem unlikely. The big Austrian seems destined to defend vs. Drew McIntyre and Sheamus in a three-way bout (that's what the rumour mill says, at least). So, unless Trips is interested in turning that into a four-way, then Elias is out of luck.
Matt Riddle's old temp-tag partner did also say that he'd happily go after Austin Theory and the United States Title too though. He's not ruling out some sort of interaction with John Cena or The Undertaker on the biggest shows of the year either.
Basically, Elias is keeping his options open and trying his best to find something that WWE management likes before reaching SoFi Stadium.
He's been a bit-part player since returning to the mix late-last year.
