Paul Heyman Says THESE ECW Originals Should Be In WWE's Hall Of Fame

Two ECW originals should be in WWE's Hall Of Fame, at least according to Paul Heyman.

Paul Heyman would love to see WWE induct both Sabu and Joey Styles into the Hall Of Fame someday soon.

The manager believes that both ECW originals are fully deserving of the honour - he knows it won't happen in 2022, but he's hopeful that the promotion will pay tribute to both in the future. Maybe in 2023? Who knows?

Heyman told the 'Battleground Podcast' that Sabu introduced pro wrestling to concepts which were "20 years ahead of [their] time". Whilst he realises that the hardcore leanings of the "Homicidal, Suicidal, Genocidal" one were loved by fans, Paul E doesn't think Sabu's body of work gets the credit it deserves these days.

On Styles, Heyman put over how difficult it must've been to call lengthy ECW broadcasts solo. He was also keen to point out that Joey helped familiarise wrestling fans in North America with various move names. The announcer ignored the established WWF and WCW style (ahem) by calling moves out rather than generalising with, "What a manoeuvre/move".

Do you agree with Heyman? Should Sabu and Joey Styles be inducted into WWE's HOF as soon as possible?
