Paul Wight has claimed that a "hall of fame worthy" signing will make their debut at this Sunday's AEW Revolution pay-per-view.

The former Big Show did this during his own debut on last night's episode of Dynamite. Speaking with his old WCW cohort Tony Schiavone, Wight claimed that he had a big scoop for the viewers, saying that the newcomer is a huge surprise and will prove to be a big asset to AEW.

Wight added that fans aren't going to believe who it is.

Let the speclation commence.

Last night's pre-Revolution media call saw Cody Rhodes promise to never bait-and-switch the audience on television, so whoever the debutant is must live up to the "hall of fame" billing. A limited number of options are on the table. Most of wrestling's hottest free agents have been snapped up now, though names like CM Punk and Batista are technically available.

We'll have to wait and see what AEW has planned at the pay-per-view, but Wight made the debut sound game-changing.

Wight and Schiavone will soon join each other in the Dark: Elevation booth. The show debuts on YouTube on Monday 15 March.
