Controversy reigned at the start of Game Changer Wrestling's GCW The People vs. GCW 2025 pay-per-view as TNA Digital Media Champion PCO shot hard on the company and proceeded to smash his championship up with a sledgehammer.

The (former?) Champion was in there to ostensibly celebrate winning a Rumble on the show, but instead repeatedly battered the belt then cut a promo on TNA in the aftermath. As commentators called the feed to be cut and in the ring Emil Jay attempted to calm things down, PCO screamed down the microphone; "I sold out the biggest house in TNA history. I sold more t-shirts in one night than any TNA wres-" before the feed faded to black.

Footage of the incident as it aired can be viewed here and from a fan's perspective here.

To potentially quell any possible speculation that it was a work, PWInsider reported the reality:

"PCO is done with TNA. We are told his deal expired at the end of the year. His rant and destruction of a TNA title (I believe the Digital Media Title) was legitimate, we are told."

PCO then tweeted;

PCO last worked for TNA on the December 14th 2024 Impact taping, losing to The Hardys alongside Sami Callihan. His last defence of the Digital Media Title came at Bound For Glory in October when he defeated GCW mainstay Matt Cardona. More on his status with GCW and TNA as it breaks, as if this isn't potentially confirmation of the latter.
