Cassie Lee, aka former WWE superstar Peyton Royce, was spotted at last night’s AEW Double or Nothing PPV.

Some spotted the IIconics favourite in the crowd during Double or Nothing, while one person seemingly spied Cassie in the background of their video call earlier in the day.

Of course, Cassie Lee is married to Shawn Spears, who was in main event action at Double or Nothing as The Pinnacle battled The Inner Circle in a Stadium Stampede war; a war that Spears’ faction was ultimately unsuccessful in.

Lee was one of several names released by WWE on 15 April, with her and her IIconics BFF Billie Kay, aka Jessica McKay, two of the more surprising releases made by Vince McMahon’s company last month.

Both Cassie Lee and Jessica McKay are currently in the midst of their 90-day non-compete clauses as part of their WWE exit – meaning the duo should be free to wrestle wherever they want as of approximately 14 July.

Whether it's in AEW or elsewhere, whichever promotion ends up bringing in the former Peyton Royce and/or Billie Kay will have some fantastic talents on their hands.
