Possible Locations For Major WWE Events In 2020/2021 Revealed?
Royal Rumble getting stadium treatment again, news on WrestleMania 37 etc...
@Wrestlevotes on Twitter claims that WWE are in the process of firming up locations for Survivor Series 2020, Royal Rumble 2021 and WrestleMania 37 the same year.
Dallas, Texas is rumoured to be the host city for Survivor Series in November next year. Meanwhile, Daniel Bryan's Seattle, Washington is being lined up for the Royal Rumble two months later in January 2021. WWE previously set an attendance record at T-Mobile Park (then Safeco Field) in 2003; they pulled 54,097 fans in for WrestleMania XIX.
As for 'Mania itself, The Wrestling Observer speculates that the brand new SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles would make the most sense. California mayor James T. Butts Jr did confirm earlier in 2019 that the city was a finalist to host WrestleMania 37, and the brand new facility is set to open in time for the 2020 NFL pre-season in July next year.
The new $4.9 billion home of the NFL's Rams and Chargers is set to be a world class arena when it is finally finished, and the LA market would be a lucrative, high-profile one for WWE to exploit.
