POTENTIAL SPOILERS On 2 WWE Royal Rumble 2024 Surprise Entrants

PWInsider Elite has reported that both Sonya Deville and Jade Cargill are expected to be backstage this Saturday at WWE's Royal Rumble 2024 PLE.

Sonya has been out since August 2023 rehabbing a torn ACL, so it's still touch and go whether she'd be medically cleared to compete. The fact she's being noted by some outlets as someone who'll be behind the curtain is very, very interesting though.

Then, there's Jade. She's been training hard at the WWE Performance Center since inking a deal with the company last September, and a few betting shops currently have her just behind Bayley as a favourite for the women's Rumble match.

That's incredible for somebody who hasn't even worked a match for WWE yet.

Only six women have been confirmed for the 30-strong field at time of writing: Becky Lynch, Bayley, Nia Jax, Bianca Belair, Ivy Nile and Maxxine Dupri are all in. Thus far, WWE has done a fine job of keeping fans guessing - that mystery has always been important when it comes to the Rumble.

Don't be too stunned if you see Deville and Cargill involved in the match. They'll be there backstage, at least.
