Potential Surprise Entrants For WWE Women's Royal Rumble 2022 Revealed (SPOILERS)

Here's who might be filling some of those empty women's Royal Rumble slots...

Aksana Royal Rumble

A trio of unannounced female wrestlers have been spotted in St. Louis, Missouri ahead of Saturday's WWE Royal Rumble 2022 show, all of whom are now due to participate as surprise entrants in the over-the-top-rope battle royal.

Most notable of these is Melina, who hasn't wrestled for WWE since 2011 but has made a handful of onscreen appearances for the promotion over the past few years. PWinsider's Mike Johnson stated that she is in town and should be a surprise entrant in the women's Rumble.

Melina is currently active in IMPACT Wrestling and the NWA, where she works her 'Living Legend' gimmick. WWE had previously attempted to book her for the 2020 women's Rumble but were prohibited by her deal with the NWA.

Former Funkadactyl Cameron is also in St. Louis and due to appear in the Rumble, the same outlet has confirmed. This will be her first WWE appearance since 2016, though she wrestled for AEW briefly in 2020, joining forces with Nyla Rose in the Women's Tag Team Cup tournament.

Finally, PWInsider have confirmed Aksana, who hasn't appeared for WWE since her June 2014 release, will be in the Rumble as well.
