WWE didn't spend the weeks leading up to No Mercy teasing John Cena's 16th world championship victory just to not pay it off. Though Styles won the triple threat match (which also included Dean Ambrose) at that show, and Cena subsequently took time off to film season two of American Grit, their bad blood still has yet to be settled.
It's rumored that the blow-off match will take place at the Royal Rumble, and given that they need to fill a 60,000-plus seat arena, it seems like a good decision. It's also hard to imagine Styles picking up a fourth victory over John Cena. In front of the biggest non-WrestleMania crowd in many years, Cena will capture world title 16 - and hopefully put on the best performance of the feud.
