9. Darby Allin Beats MJF
This stems from the 5 August episode of AEW Dynamite. MJF attacked Jon Moxley allowing for Darby Allin to very nearly pick up the win and claim the title. This showed how much MJF is underestimating Darby Allin and there would be no better comeuppance for MJF than losing the title to the underdog Darby Allin.
Allin would have the odds completely stacked against him. From Wardlow beating him down before the match to MJF clocking him with the diamond ring, Darby keeps kicking out of everything that is thrown at him. After taking care of Wardlow on the outside, Allin hits the coffin drop on MJF for the win. Clean as a whistle.
Darby's win would be euphoric (if won in an arena full of fans) and would make for a great path forward with Darby. It would make Allin one of the top guys in the company, a position he has deserved since he debuted.
