It still isn't completely clear what WWE has planned for its UK expansion. There has been talk of an exclusive show coming to the WWE Network, with tapings taking place in Norwich over the weekend, but the specifics are still a little fuzzy.

Fuzzy or not, we do know that Tyler Bate is going to defend the WWE United Kingdom Championship at NXT TakeOver: Chicago, where Bate will take on Pete Dunne, the man he defeated in the final of the tournament to crown the inaugural champion. The championship has been on the shelf somewhat since the pair's Blackpool showdown in January, but it seems as though business is about to pick up for the strap.

Bate isn't going to hold the championship forever. It could be years before five WWE UK Championship have been crowned, but what is more fun as a wrestling fan than gazing into the immensely speculative crystal ball? Who may well have a WWE UK Championship run in their future?

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
