Predicting What The Entire Wrestling World Will Look Like In Five Years

5. Will WWE Get Sold?

No.

It is imperative that Vince McMahon work. Work is his life.

His other favourite pastime is a brutal grasp of control.

This means that he has to work, and under no circumstances will he work under anybody else. The idea of Vince taking orders from a besuited exec is incredibly amusing, but sadly unthinkable.

"Hey Vince, let's rap. Our analytics department has presented data indicating that various midcard championships are no longer considered of any importance by our consumer base. Now, here at Disney, we're very much reboot-focused, and we feel-"

"F*ck off, pal!"

That isn't happening, is it?

With this in mind, Vince McMahon would have to launch a new endeavour to occupy his time - and he's failed at every single one of them. The restaurant business, the movie business, the football business - all total failures or arms of his business that nobody gives a sh*t about. The XFL is no longer his to reboot, WWE Studios is virtually inactive, and he doesn't know anything else.

What's he going to do, launch a crypto coin or an NFT?

It's far more likely that those terms will finally make into a RAW script in 2027.
