Predicting Where All Current WWE Champions Will Be In 12 Months

1. Universal Champion - Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar’s contract with WWE expires after WrestleMania 34 next year, and there has been plenty of chat surrounding a potential return to UFC for the 'Beast Incarnate'.

However, a mooted blockbuster bout against Jon Jones seems unlikely now that the former light heavyweight champion has failed a second drugs test and faces an uncertain future with UFC, and there isn't another draw big enough to tempt Lesnar back to the Octagon.

We might get a clearer indication of what lies ahead for Lesnar after this Sunday, when he defends his Universal Championship against Braun Strowman at No Mercy. Victory over WWE’s hottest act right now could be a sign of their confidence in Lesnar’s ongoing commitment. Why put him over 'The Monster Among Men' if he is leaving in six months?

Lesnar has enough power to break ground by balancing careers in both UFC and WWE, and that is what he will be doing this time next year. But he won’t be Universal Champion.
