Predicting WWE's WrestleMania 35 Card After Royal Rumble 2019

Will WWE rely on part-timers, or will they go in a bold new direction?

Two things about WrestleMania 35 are already clear. Firstly, Seth Rollins is being cast as a plucky underdog against Brock Lesnar and second, WWE will have to work overtime to keep Ronda Rousey from going full-blown heel beforehand. Those fans in Phoenix on Sunday and on Raw did not treat her like the babyface.

Why would they when Becky Lynch is the apple of everyone's eye?

What happened at the Royal Rumble also gives a few indications about where WWE see things heading into 'Mania, but there are still some big questions to answer. Will The Undertaker ride into battle one last time? If so, who will the legend face? Who is the most suitable opponent for WWE Champ Daniel Bryan? Will another double helping of Battle Royal mediocrity bore everybody to death?

Everyone will have their own opinions on some dream matches WWE can put on in New Jersey, but that's not necessarily what this article is concerned with. No, it instead looks at the most realistic combos and attempts to read between the lines of recent storytelling.
