AEW has moved to announce that any fans attending the Grand Slam edition of AEW Dynamite from Arthur Ashe Stadium later this month will have to provide proof of vaccination for COVID-19.

That hotly-anticipated show takes place on 22 September, and Tony Khan's All Elite Wrestling have made this decision due to the rapid rising numbers of positive COVID-19 cases across the United States as the delta variant continues to spread.

In a press release shared out on their social media platforms, AEW confirmed that an official vaccination card, an immunisation record from a health care provider, and the NYC COVID Safe app are amongst those considered as certifiable proof of vaccination.

For those unable or unwilling to show proof of vaccination, they will be refunded the price of their Dynamite ticket.

This huge edition of AEW Dynamite was previously rumoured to be the AEW debut of one Bryan Danielson. While the American Dragon's AEW bow is now believed to be happening at this weekend's All Out PPV, AEW is sure to put on something spectacular at Arthur Ashe later this month.
