In a follow-up to a story that first surfaced earlier this week, there’s now an update on WWE’s plans to have Randy Orton and ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt once more lock horns at this month’s Royal Rumble PPV.

As per the Wrestling Observer, not only are Orton and Wyatt set to do battle at WWE’s January spectacular, but this contest is currently pegged to be a Firefly Fun House match.

The Observer has no specifics on what exactly this bout will consist of, although it’s worth noting that The Fiend’s match against John Cena at WrestleMania 36 also took place under the Firefly Fun House title.

Giving how Orton and Wyatt’s wars over the years have seen the duo compete in House of Horrors and Firefly Inferno matches, it was to be expected that their Royal Rumble rematch would have to have some sort of other insane stipulation or setup attached to it – and if last year’s Showcase of the Immortals is anything to go by, the Firefly Fun House concept certainly offers up the chance to serve up additional insanity.

Bray Wyatt has been absent from WWE TV since BEING SET ON FIRE at last month’s TLC PPV, although his feud with Randy Orton has rumbled on thanks to the Viper’s interactions with Alexa Bliss.
