Bobby Lashley and Randy Orton were both conspicuous by their absence from last night's episode of WWE Raw.

Orton not being on the show was addressed in the first segment. With Randy advertised for a Money in the Bank 2021 qualification Triple Threat against AJ Styles and Drew McIntyre, Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville gave Riddle permission to represent his RKBro partner in a battle royal to determine Orton's replacement.

Riddle won, eliminating the returning Damian Priest last, but failed in the Triple Threat. Drew McIntyre ended up taking the MITB spot at his expense.

Lashley, meanwhile, was represented by manager MVP in a segment with Kofi Kingston. MVP claimed that the WWE Champion was taking a vacation after destroying Xavier Woods inside Hell in a Cell last week. The segment didn't end well for MVP, who was laid out by Kingston to close.

Kingston challenges for Lashley's WWE Championship at Money in the Bank 2021 on 18 July. Next week's Raw will see Lashley and Woods go one-on-one for the second time in three weeks.

There's currently no word on why, exactly, Orton and Lashley were missing from Raw.
