Randy Orton To Star In New Movie With Seth Green
With production starting this week, Orton's new role could take him to Thailand.
Former WWE Champion Randy Orton is set to co-star in a new film with Seth Green and Brecklin Meyer, as per new report from Deadline.
Entitled Changeland, it is the first full-length feature that Green, a former WWE Raw guest host, has written and directed.
The story is based around Green's hesitant protagonist going through a deep personal crisis as he travels to Thailand to meet Meyer, who'll play his best friend. Details on Orton's role in the film are still to be revealed.
There's no word on when Changeland will be released, though production is scheduled to start later this week. According to Green, the movie is one of the first to benefit from new incentives offered to international filmmakers by the Thailand Film Office and the country's Department of Tourism.
Changeland will be 'The Viper's' fifth foray into acting life, with his last job coming through a non-speaking role in Countdown, a 2016 WWE Studios production. After parts in That's What I Am (2011), 12 Rounds 2: Reloaded (2013), and The Condemned 2 (2015), this looks set to become Randy's first non-WWE movie role, but there's no word on whether he'll be forced to miss TV time.
